1. Agreement and Apple’s terms
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using My Prayer Today, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”), unless a different end-user license is presented in the App Store. The Apple EULA governs the app license; these terms govern the My Prayer Today service and supplement the Apple EULA. If these terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms about the licensed app, those Apple terms control to the extent of the conflict.
2. What My Prayer Today provides
My Prayer Today helps you create, listen to, save, and share personalized Christian prayers and devotional videos. Prayers and imagery are generated with automated tools based on the intention, faith settings, and optional personal reference you choose to provide.
The app does not require a traditional account. It uses an anonymous protected installation key to operate the service, enforce applicable limits, recover interrupted work, and restore supported access.
We may improve, replace, suspend, limit, or discontinue features. We will try to provide reasonable notice if a change materially affects a paid service, except where immediate action is needed for safety, security, legal compliance, provider availability, or service integrity.
3. Eligibility and responsible use
You must be legally able to agree to these terms where you live. If you are not, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms for you where permitted. The personalized-photo feature is intended for adults and may be used only with a photo of yourself.
You are responsible for your device, your use of the app, and the intentions or other information you submit. If you write about another person, respect their privacy and avoid including information that is unnecessary to your prayer.
4. Your content and permission to process it
You keep any rights you have in content you submit, such as a prayer intention or personal photo. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, reproduce, transform, transmit, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and deliver the requested service, comply with law, and fulfill your choices. This permission ends when the content is deleted from our systems, subject to limited backups and legal retention described in the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the content and that doing so does not violate law or another person’s rights. Do not upload a photo of anyone other than yourself or content you do not have permission to use.
Automated output may contain mistakes, unexpected wording, visual artifacts, or material that does not match your intent. Review a prayer or video before relying on it or sharing it with others.
5. Devotional content is not professional advice
The app cannot assess your health, safety, spiritual needs, or personal circumstances. Generated prayer content is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or crisis advice, and it should not be treated as authoritative doctrine or pastoral direction.
If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For medical or mental-health concerns, seek help from a qualified professional. For spiritual questions, consider speaking with a trusted clergy member or faith leader who knows your circumstances.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid features may be offered through an automatically renewing subscription or another in-app purchase shown before purchase. The App Store displays the current price, billing period, trial terms if any, and included access before you confirm.
- Apple processes payment using your Apple Account and applicable App Store terms.
- An auto-renewing subscription renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s current rules.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple’s subscription settings.
- Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law.
We may change future subscription pricing or features with the notice and consent required by Apple or applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use My Prayer Today to:
- Break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, impersonate another person, or submit another person’s photo.
- Create or distribute content that exploits children, facilitates abuse, threatens people, or is deliberately hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or harmful.
- Probe, bypass, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, automate, or interfere with the app, service limits, security, or providers, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Resell the service, use it to build a competing model or service, or use generated media in a misleading way that implies another person’s participation or endorsement.
We may reject a request, limit access, or suspend an installation when reasonably necessary to protect people, enforce these terms, preserve security or service availability, or comply with law.
8. Ownership and feedback
My Prayer Today and its software, design, branding, documentation, and original service materials belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. These terms give you a personal, limited right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the app or underlying technology.
Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use and share prayer output created for you for personal, non-deceptive purposes. Because generated material can be similar across users and jurisdictions treat AI-generated content differently, we do not promise that output is unique or that intellectual-property rights will arise in it.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, but you do not have to provide feedback.
9. Availability, disclaimers, and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service and generated output are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free output, a particular spiritual or emotional result, perfect accuracy, compatibility with every device, or permanent storage of any prayer or video.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, or harm arising from reliance on generated content. If we are liable despite these limits, our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for My Prayer Today in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $50.
Some places do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits. In those places, these provisions apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these terms removes non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, create risk or harm, or if the service is discontinued. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related terms—remain effective.
Changes and severability
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice where required. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be adjusted or removed only as necessary, and the remaining terms continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
